We are a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting local food and farms through educational programs and a year round indoor farmers market.
Central Oregon Locavore is always in need of willing hands. We can only succeed at what we do with the help of volunteers. There are many different opportunities to help out.
In The Marketplace
The market always needs volunteers to help with general tasks like cleaning and organizing shelves. One of the more unique daily jobs is candling and packaging the local eggs that come in.
At Educational Booths
We have booths at many different events throughout the year. This is great for people that enjoy meeting and engaging with the public. It is a chance to talk about what Locavore does and let the public know about how they can participate.
With Farm Kids
Farm Kids needs volunteers to run the different education stations at each event. If you love working with young kids then this would be a wonderful way to participate.
At WWOLF Events
WWOLF and the farms and farmers it serves depends on your help! If you are interested in spending a day learning more about a local farm and helping complete some projects then WWOLF is made for you.
