Central Oregon Edible Adventure Crew is a program that consists of sustainably-minded volunteers who strive to connect the community with the natural local food sources through direct experience (harvesting on the farm), education (learning about local foods & how to preserve them) and community (making it fun!).

The Edible Adventure Crew believes that eating locally doesn’t have to be mysterious, expensive, or difficult. There is great satisfaction in returning to the simplicity of things such as discovering new tastes, harvesting your own food and “putting things up” for the winter months.

Potato Diggin' Day

Saturday, September 29th 12pm-3pm
Join us for a day of digging potatoes at Rainshadow Organics, just outside of Terrebonne for a day of potato gleaning. The potato harvesting tractor has run through the fields and left behind lots of great potato scores, so come on out and get you some!
Meet at Locavore at noon to carpool to the farm.
Rainshadow will be making and serving pizza, so bring some lunch money for a yummy treat.
Bring gloves, water, and lots of bags for collecting potatoes
RSVP required.
