Central Oregon Locavore Board of Directors helps to inform our work. Our board is comprised of local people who are eager to support local food and local farmers for the health of our community and future generations. These folks have a unique perspective to lend: from people with lived experience of food insecurity, to food retailers, to local food volunteers, to community organizers, chefs, farmers and more. Our members come together once each quarter to offer insights and perspective and to learn and share with peers in the food security space with the goal of deepening our collective impact. The Corporate Sponsorship program is based on the concept that a rising tide lifts all boats, and supports the interconnectedness of the local foodscape in Central Oregon.

When you become a corporate sponsor you help Locavore to increase the capacity and economic viability of local farmers and ranchers through marketplace sales, product promotion, educational programming, on-farm volunteers, and community engagement through farm-to-table dinners and other events. These efforts help farmers to grow their sales, create and retain employment opportunities, increase wages, and sell products in the community, which fosters a greater connection between the food, the land on which is was grown, and the family that produced it.
