- Make the trip to Thomas Orchards in Kimberly for a day of fruit picking! Thomas Orchards a scenic drive away and is located along the beautiful John Day River. They expect to have freestone nectarines and peaches, plums, early apples and pears available for picking.

How it works: We will meet at Thomas Orchards in Kimberly, Oregon, about 2 1/2 hours from Bend.What: Group U-Pick of nectarines, peaches, plums, apples and pears, prices varyWhen: Saturday, August 22 from 10am to 2pm, come whenever you canWhere: Thomas OrchardsWhat to bring: Water, hat, sun protection, lunch, buckets and boxes for fruit, mask to wear at the fruit stand, and money for your yummy fruit.
Thomas Orchards is taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks are required when a distance of 6-feet cannot be maintained and when at the fruit stand, hand washing stations are provided throughout the orchard, pets are not allowed in the orchard, and no jewelry or watches may be worn except for studs.
