Why? To get a hands-on experience at a local farm and have fun doing it!
Cost? $5/child
The Farm Kids field trip program is an interactive, hands-on learning experience on one of our local farms. Students participate in curriculum-based activities to learn about various aspects of farming. The activities include learning stations such as Wiggling Worms, Chicken & Bugs, Taste Test, Busy Bees and Farm Tools. Please follow the ticket link to register, space is limited to 25 kindergarten and first grade home school students.
The Farm Kids field trip will begin at 9:30am and end at about 11:30am. Families are welcome to BYO picnic lunch to enjoy at the farm after the field trip. The learning activities all take place outdoors so dress for the weather, wear close-toe shoes, and bring sunscreen and water.
