What: Group caravan to Kimberly, OR where we will "jam" on over to Thomas Orchards to harvest peaches, nectarines and plums. Thomas Orchards is a minimal spray operation, but not certified organic.      Edible Adventure Crew Potato Day at Rainshadow Organics Join us for a day of digging potatoes at Rainshadow Organics, just outside of Terrebonne for a day of potato gleaning. The potato harvesting tractor has run through the fields and left behind lots of great potato scores, so come on out and get you some!

Edible Adventure Crew presents: Medicinal Plants in Your Backyard!  Join Holly Hutton of Herbal Goddess Medicinals for an intimate and informative plant walk at Juniper Jungle Learning Farm. Participants will learn how to identify and safely use common Central Oregon plants in order to support their health. Registration is limited to allow for social distancing.

Make the trip to Springbank Farm in Lebanon for a day of blueberry picking! Springbank is generously offering the price of $2.40/pound for Locavorians and is opening early for us to have some private picking time. Make the trip to Thomas Orchards in Kimberly for a day of fruit picking! Thomas Orchards a scenic drive away and is located along the beautiful John Day River. They expect to have freestone nectarines and peaches, plums, early apples and pears available for picking. How it works: We will meet at Thomas Orchards in Kimberly,

Join us at a neighborhood orchard on Bend's east side to pick apples and have them pressed into cider. Generous friends of Locavore are opening their orchard and bringing their cider press for our use. Hooray! Registration is required and limited, please follow the registration link to sign up.
