Fall/Winter 2021 Schedule
Locavore Food School is back for a special weekend with Kirsten and Christopher Shockey of Ferment Works. Kirsten K. Shockey and Christopher Shockey are the coauthors of The Big Book of Cidermaking, Fiery Ferments, best-selling Fermented Vegetables and award-winning Miso, Tempeh, Natto and other Tasty Ferments. In the afternoon of Friday, October 8 they will be doing a talk on fermenting for flavor and gut health along with a demonstration on making apple kraut. Saturday, October 9 they will lead a longer workshop teaching how to make your own cider: sweet, hard or vinegar. Click on the date to learn more and register.
