Friday, April 21st at Tetherow Pavilion

Doors at 5pm

Special Guests:

  • Caleb and Ashley of Sungrounded Farm
  • Ethan and Courtney of North 44 Ranch

The evening will feature:

  • Gourmet farm-to-table feast
  • Faces of Farming photographic narrative of local farmers and ranchers
  • Bend's Best Silent auction
  • Live auction
  • Infamous dessert dash

The theme of the event is the connection between local food and the environment, highlighting how small-scale farming practices are regenerative and beneficial for the land.

By choosing local food, we can support sustainable farming practices that rebuild soil health, limit or eliminate the use of pesticides and herbicides, maintain crop diversity for wildlife, and reduce transportation emissions. We will also explore how local ranchers use grass-based horticulture techniques that are more humane and environmentally friendly than traditional feedlot operations.

Together, we can make a difference by being mindful of our food choices and supporting a sustainable future for ourselves, our children, and our planet.

Attire: High Desert Formal

What is High Desert Formal? Let's just say is anything between cocktail attire and black tie. We don't get many options to dress up in Central Oregon, so if you are feeling fancy, go ahead and glam up for dinner! If the thought of dressing up makes you break out in hives, that's OK too. But do your best.

For gals: fancy pants, nice tops, skirts and boots will all pass.

For guys: jeans and a nice sport coat will get you through the door. We are going to have a great time no matter what. We will be there with bells on ready to throw a great party!

Consider staying the night at one of Bend's premier resorts. Special rates for Faces of Farming attendees are available at Tetherow. Mention the Central Oregon Locavore room block to access the discount.

Regular Price: $105 Locavore Member/$115 Non-Member
